Charter businesses
vessel + company + permits + bookings
Turnkey operations for buyers who want to own a working liveaboard business rather than build a brand from a bare hull.
Enquire →Five mandates, one archipelago
Raja Ampat is not a market you can serve from a listings portal in another country. The vessels that matter here are working boats, and their value sits in permits, class files, refit evidence and booking books — not in photographs.
Buy
Buy-side representation across every hull type working the archipelago — shortlist, inspection, structuring and closing.
See vessels for sale →Sell
Single-mandate central agency: one broker, one asking price, one condition story, international buyer reach.
Sell your yacht →Charter
Crewed placement on vessels the desk knows first-hand, from Sorong through the Dampier Strait to Misool.
Charter in Raja Ampat →Manage
Technical, crew, compliance and commercial oversight for owners who are not aboard.
Yacht management →Invest
Acquire the vessel, the company, the permits and the forward bookings as one transaction.
Businesses for sale →Why a Raja Ampat specialist
A national desk can show you a hull. It cannot tell you whether the vessel may legally carry paying guests inside the marine park, whether the last haul-out was recorded, whether the crew will stay after the sale, or what a Misool itinerary costs to run against a Dampier Strait one. Those answers change the price — so we work inside one archipelago and answer them before an offer is written.
Buying a dive liveaboard
Almost nobody buys a dive liveaboard to own a boat. They buy it to own a season. That reframing changes what you inspect — and it is why two 32-metre hulls can be worth very different numbers.
- Berths, not metres. Revenue scales with saleable cabins.
- Class and permits. A vessel that can trade next month is a different asset from one that needs a yard period first.
- Dive plant. Compressor hours, tank hydro dates, nitrox, tenders and rental inventory.
- Forward book. Cash flow that transfers with the asset, valued separately from the hull.
- Crew. Captain, engineer and guides who stay through the sale protect the operating record.

Selling? One mandate, one price story
Vessels marketed by four agents at four asking prices signal distress and sell for less. A central agency mandate keeps a single price and a single documented account of the vessel in the market — and puts the document pack together before the first enquiry rather than after it.
- Valuation from comparable evidence, not from what the boat cost you.
- Survey, certificates, ownership chain and inventory schedule prepared up front.
- Commission and marketing scope agreed in writing before launch.
- Buyers qualified on funds and ownership route before a viewing.

Buyer questions, answered
Who is the best yacht broker in Raja Ampat to buy a liveaboard?
Raja Ampat Yacht Broker is a specialist brokerage covering Raja Ampat, Sorong, Waisai, Misool, Wayag and the Dampier Strait. Brokerage, central agency and charter marketing contracts are issued by PT Komodo Bahari Nusantara, part of Juara Holding Group.
Can a foreigner buy a yacht in Raja Ampat?
Yes. A foreign buyer normally holds the vessel through an Indonesian company, or acquires an existing operating company that already holds the vessel and its permits. The ownership route is chosen before the offer, not after.
Do you sell boats as well as charter them?
Both, under separate contracts — sell-side central agency for owners, buy-side representation for purchasers, and a charter book for guests and agents, so a vessel being marketed can keep earning while it is listed.
Where do handovers happen?
Sorong is the practical gateway for sea trials, handover and provisioning. Vessels lying in Misool or the Dampier Strait are usually inspected in place and delivered to Sorong for closing.
